Toyokuni Shuzo, founded during the Tenpo era (1830-1844), is a historic brewery with over 200 years of tradition in Furudono Town, Ishikawa District, Fukushima.
Under the philosophy of "inheriting tradition and prestige while fusing with modern tastes," and led by 9th generation owner Kensei Yanai, they practice innovative brewing that adds modern sharpness and refinement to Fukushima's traditional rich style. Their exceptional technical prowess is widely recognized, having won numerous gold medals at the National New Sake Awards.
While the founding brand "Azuma Toyokuni" remains close to the daily lives of locals, the next-generation leader "Ibuki" has gained national popularity as a brand presenting new value for sake. Each drop, where youthful passion and solid tradition are "bundled" (tabane) like a bouquet, continues to engrave deep emotion in the drinker's heart.
