Kita Sake Brewery

Kita Sake Brewery was founded in the 3rd year of the Kyoho era (1718) and is located in Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture, a historic land surrounded by the Yamato Three Mountains (Unebi, Miminashi, and Kagu).
The founder, Rihei Kita, was so particular about quality that there is an anecdote that he did not build a brewery until he found satisfactory water and rice, and that spirit has been passed down for over 300 years. Based on the belief that "delicious sake is sake where the thoughts of the brewer are conveyed to the heart of the drinker," they continue sincere sake brewing.
In addition to the representative brand "Miyokiku", they are also committed to reviving the brewing method "Mizumoto (Bodaimoto)" established in Nara during the Muromachi period, and are challenging the creation of new tastes that fuse tradition and modern technology.
