Kinshi Masamune Co., Ltd.

Kinshi Masamune, founded in 1781 as "Matsuya Kyubee" at Sakai-machi Nijo in Kyoto, is a prestigious brewery with a history of over 240 years.
Moving their base to Fushimi in the Meiji era, they have refined their unique sake brewing alongside Kyoto's sophisticated food culture, using Fushimi's rich famous water "Tokiwai-sui."
While protecting traditional methods, they also possess a progressive spirit, such as being among the first in Kyoto to start craft beer production (Kyoto Bakushu) in the 1990s.
Pursuing the dignity of "Kyo no Sake" (Sake of Kyoto) that is delicious at any temperature from cold to warm and enhances the quality of dishes, their honest sake brewing has been loved by Kyoto people for a long time.
The former headquarters building is preserved as the "Horino Memorial Museum," playing an important role in transmitting Kyoto's sake brewing history and culture to the present.
