Yuki Shuzo is a historic brewery in Yuki City, Ibaraki Prefecture, said to have been founded in 1603 (Keicho 8). Although the warehouse, which was a registered tangible cultural property of the country, was destroyed by fire in 2022, they are currently continuing sake brewing by borrowing the facilities of "Michizakura Shuzo" in Hokkaido and "Raifuku Shuzo" in the prefecture.
The sake brewed by the young female master brewer, Michiko Urasato, is highly evaluated for its taste that blends tradition and innovation.
Overcoming difficulties, they continue to make sake that connects people, aiming for reconstruction in the land of Yuki.
