Sanyouhai Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. is a brewery in Shiso City established in 1837 (Tenpo 8) with a history of about 180 years.
Located in Yamasaki-cho, a former castle town on the banks of the Ibo River, it uses the underground water (soft water) of Mount Hyono, the highest peak in Hyogo Prefecture, as brewing water.
Sake brewed by the traditional techniques of Tajima Toji is named "Banshu Ikkon" with the meaning of "Please have a cup of Banshu sake made with Banshu rice and water."
It is also known as the only brewery in Kansai that has a mine storage, and it also develops a product called "Myojugura" aged in the stable temperature environment of the mine.
It features a sharp taste because it has a firm umami but moderate acidity, and it brings out the taste of the dishes by enjoying it with a meal.
It also has a direct management Banshu Ikkon store, and sells nationwide through an online shop.
