Hirayama Shuzo Ten

"Hirayama Shuzo Ten" is a traditional brewery with over 150 years of history in Ohtawara City, Tochigi, founded in 1871. Its journey began when the first generation, convinced of the region's potential blessed with high-quality local rice and water, transitioned from their previous brokerage business to sake brewing.
They use the pure groundwater nurtured by the vast nature of Nasunogahara as brewing water, carefully polishing and brewing local sake rice from Tochigi. Despite its small scale, the brewery remains committed to "honest hand-brewing," pursuing sincere sake that maximizes the umami of the rice while staying close to the local food culture and climate.
The flagship brand "Fuji no Mori" bears a name reflecting the local landscape and wishes for prosperity, and has been long loved primarily in the local Ohtawara City. While preserving tradition, this brewery continues to brew drops that convey warmth and sincerity, bringing peace of mind with every sip.
