Umetsu Shuzo, founded in 1865 (Keio 1), is located in the sand dune area of Otani, Hokuei Town.
Based on the belief that "We use local rice for rice, and local water for water," they practice sake brewing where you can see the face of the maker using Tottori Prefecture sake rice and high-quality groundwater. The biggest feature is the return to all-quantity Junmai sake and all-quantity "Kimoto brewing." Powerful sake brewing by traditional manual work also leads to a commitment to "aged sake" that creates a deeper taste through aging. The lineup full of individuality such as "Furei," which is popular as "sake of support," and "Nokyo," a sake-based plum wine, is attractive.
