"Nagano Meijo" is a long-established brewery founded in 1689 (Genroku 2), the only surviving brewery in Chikuma City.
Under the strong belief of "never adding brewing alcohol," it is known as a pure rice brewery that brews only pure rice sake.
Using contract-grown rice from "Obasute Rice Terraces," selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Rice Terraces, and spring water from Mt. Hijiri, they continue to brew sake that reflects the local climate.
