Yahiko Aikoku is a brand packed with regional passion, brewed using 100% of the phantom sake rice 'Aikoku' revived in Yahiko. Local farmers and the brewery worked together to revive the historical variety discovered in Yahiko during the Meiji era to the present day.
It is characterized by strong umami full of wildness unique to 'Aikoku,' solid body, and deep acidity. While letting one feel the strength nurtured by Yahiko's soil and climate, it also has a refined style by adding Yahiko Shuzo's delicate skills. Beyond being just sake, it is a one-of-a-kind sake that can only be brewed in Yahiko, connecting regional history and pride to the next generation.
