Okano Sake Brewery was a brewery located in Mitsue Village, Uda District, Nara Prefecture, and founded in 1915 (Taisho 4). Located near the border with Mie Prefecture, blessed with the cool climate of the highlands and pure water, they brewed sake loved by the local community for a long time.
The main brand "Hinode" (Sunrise) bore a name full of hope symbolizing the beginning of a new day, and was familiar as local sake close to the lives of local people.
Unfortunately, production is currently suspended, but the sake once brewed in this land remains as a memory conveying the climate and history of Mitsue Village.
