The brand name "Goshin" was named by taking "Shin" (God) from the fact that sake has been offered to gods since ancient times, and "Go" from Gojo City, Nara Prefecture, where the brewery is located.
Utilizing the goodness of traditional hand-making of the Tajima school, they brew carefully with delicate work that can only be done in small quantity production.
Using the subsoil water of the Mt. Kongo system and clear water from their own well, utilizing the goodness of traditional hand-making of the Tajima school with tradition, they brew mellow sake through fine work in small quantity production.
Underground water from Mt. Kongo gushes out from the well, and this water is slightly soft water suitable for sake brewing.
They are also particular about materials, such as using "Tsuyuhakaze", which is produced only in Nara Prefecture, and sake rice grown without using chemical fertilizers under special contracts with local farmers.
It is a famous sake that is drunk by neighbors under the brand name of "Goshin" to the extent that it is said that "there is no shop in Gojo City without Goshin".
