Fukui Shuzo, founded in 1912 in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, is a brewery boasting over 100 years of history. In Toyohashi, which once flourished as "Yoshida-juku," it is one of the precious two remaining breweries still keeping the light of brewing alive along with Iseya Shoten.
This brewery's commitment lies in careful brewing through "small-batch production" that pursues quality over efficiency. Lavishly using clear underground water from 50 to 100 meters deep in the Tenryu River system, craftsmen spare no effort to bring out the maximum umami of the rice. The resulting sake features a fruity aroma and a sophisticated sharp finish. Their sincere attitude of aiming high while protecting tradition is proven by numerous awards in domestic and international sake competitions.
