「四つの海の王」という意味で、世界一の酒蔵になりたいという意気込みと、太平洋・日本海・東シナ海・オホーツク海の4つの海に囲まれた日本を象徴しています。
天竜川の水と地下50m-100mを流れる伏流水を使用し、小仕込み製法により味の質を高めています。
フルーティーな香りと切れ味の良さが特徴で、山田錦や夢吟香を使用した純米大吟醸、純米吟醸「真」などを展開しています。
厚みがありながら飲みやすい味わいで、国際的な賞を受賞するなど高い評価を受けています。
