Kikunori Shuzo is a brewery founded in 1866, located in Ohtawara City, Tochigi. Situated at the northern edge of the Nasuno-ga-hara plain, surrounded by the grand nature of the Nasu mountains, the brewery has continued its craft blessed by pure groundwater and rich soil. Despite being a small-scale operation, it is a brewery filled with artisanal spirit, pursuing "transparency" and "harmony with food" to the extreme.
Their flagship brand, "Daina," takes its name from the "Dai" of Ohtawara and "Na" of Nasu, truly embodying the blessings of this land. Aiming for the ultimate "food-pairing sake" that enhances meals while highlighting the natural umami of rice, it has recently gained high acclaim in fine dining restaurants and specialized sake shops both in Japan and abroad.
