Founded in 1788, Ito is a prestigious brewery that once boasted the largest scale in the Chubu region and was certified as the highest "Yokozuna" rank in 1923.
Although they once returned their brewing license in 2000, they achieved a dramatic revival in 2021 after 21 years through the passion of the 9th generation head, Yu Ito.
In Kamezaki, Handa City, they fuse mineral-rich well water with traditional techniques to pursue a crisp flavor suitable for the modern era.
Alongside "Ito Goshi," which repurposed the old brewery, they transmit the tradition and innovation of brewing culture to the world.
