Kyokuhou Shuzo is a long-established brewery founded in 1865 (Keio 1), continuing to brew sake with Hiroshima-like umami and sharpness while protecting the traditions of Hiroshima Toji (master brewers).
Using underground water from the clear stream Ota River as brewing water and high-quality sake rice from Hiroshima Prefecture. The 7th generation brewery owner and Toji, Mr. Yohei Hamamura, fuses the techniques inherited from his predecessors with his own sensibilities, and in addition to the traditional "Kyokuhou," he is also challenging sake brewing that meets the needs of the new era.
It is characterized by a soft yet core taste created by the unique water quality of soft water close to hard water. It has a high degree of perfection as a sake during meals that accompanies food, and continues to be loved mainly locally as a sake that you do not get tired of drinking.
