Ibaraki Sake Brewery is a historic brewery founded in 1848 (Kaei 1), located in a famous sake production area called "Nishinada" in the western part of Akashi City.
They consistently carry out small-scale handmade production with careful small preparations, where all processes are done by the hands of the master brewer and brewers.
They continue to protect the traditional manufacturing method of consistently doing everything by hand, from rice washing, koji making, and fermentation management, to bottling and labeling.
Brewed with local famous water, they are particular about local sake brewing using rice carefully grown for sake, such as Hyogo's representative sake rice brand "Yamada Nishiki".
Since Akashi is an area rich in seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, they aim for a sake quality that brings out the taste of seafood.
