Fujioka Shuzo

Fujioka Shuzo was founded in 1902. Although production was once suspended, the fifth-generation owner Masaaki Fujioka launched the "Soku" brand and revived the brewery as a master brewer himself, driven by passion.
They luxuriously use the famous water "Shirakikusui" from a well located at the most upstream position among Fushimi's breweries.
Committed to 100% Junmai sake, they maintain a very small production scale, brewing only one tank per week. Their character lies in thorough, careful handmade brewing, including the traditional "fukuro-shibori" (bag pressing) method.
The owner aims for "food-pairing sake to enjoy with cuisine." Each serving, contained in a beautiful Venetian-made bottle, has high rarity value and calmly fills the hearts of those who drink it.
