Igarashi Shuzo

Igarashi Shuzo, founded in 1897 in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, is a brewery standing in a beautiful natural environment where the clear streams of Naguri River and Nariki River in Okumusashi meet. In the land of Hanno, which flourished as a hub for logistics and culture connecting Kawagoe (once called "Little Edo") and "Edo," it has continued sincere brewing for over 110 years.
The maximum commitment is the clear underground water nurtured by the nature of Okumusashi. Utilizing this water, craftsmen pursue "gentle flavor, lightness, and good crispness." They have polished a sake quality full of transparency that never gets tiring and maximizes the deliciousness of meals.
The representative brand "Tenranzan" was named after Hanno's symbolic mountain. It has a historical origin that Emperor Meiji once climbed this mountain and watched military maneuvers, and it is loved as sake embodying regional pride. Additionally, it develops diverse brands interweaving tradition and innovation, such as "Senshinmu," embodying the state of Zen, and "Kihachiro" with a gorgeous aroma.
