Miyake Sake Brewery is a historic sake brewery founded in 1819 (Bunsei 2), contributing to sake brewing in Kasai City for over 200 years.
It was named "Kikunihon" (Chrysanthemum Japan) because the 4th generation owner was a master of chrysanthemum cultivation.
It is a brewery with high technical capabilities, such as winning the gold medal at the National New Brew Appraisal for two consecutive years in 2011 and 2012 (total of 11 awards).
Under the 7th generation female master brewer, Fumika Miyake, they shifted from mass production to ultra-small batch brewing and launched a new brand "Q/A (Kue)".
Named after the Kue district where the brewery is located, they are challenging innovative sake brewing with a concept that expresses "Question and Answer" between sake brewing and the land.
