Shirakamishuzou

Shirakami Shuzoten Co., Ltd. is a brewery located in the Higashimeya district of Hirosaki City, Aomori, at the foothills of the World Heritage Shirakami-Sanchi mountains.
Originally recorded as Nishizawa Shuzoten and later renamed Shirakami Shuzoten, it is currently led by Mr. Makoto Nishizawa, the 5th generation brewer.
The brewery is situated away from the city center, utilizing pure spring water flowing from Shirakami-Sanchi for its brewing process.
The brand "Shirakami" was named after the concept that World Heritage Shirakami-Sanchi equals "Nature," which in turn equals "Sake."
Despite temporarily losing its facilities to a fire, the brewery continued production by borrowing space from Rokka Shuzo before resuming brewing at its own site. They remain dedicated to crafting sake that honors both natural blessings and tradition.
