Yamada Shuzo

Founded in 1871 (Meiji 4). For over 150 years in Kanie, Owari, this brewery has been embraced by the blessed natural environment of the cold "Ibuki Oroshi" winds and the clear subsoil water of the Kiso River.
With the mottos "Quality First" and "Customer First," they stubbornly maintain the traditional "Yamahai Shikomi" (Yamahai brewing method).
The sake, brewed over time without sparing any effort, is characterized by a rich and robust umami that draws out the life force of the rice.
They pursue a sincere and powerful dry flavor that possesses deep body yet a clean, sharp finish.
