Nagasawa Shuzo

Nagasawa Shuzo, founded in 1844 in Hidaka City, Saitama Prefecture, is a brewery embraced by the rich nature of Okumusashi. In the historic land of "Koma," once opened by immigrants from Goguryeo, it has continued to protect traditional brewing for nearly 180 years.
The greatest pride is brewing using underground water from the clear Koma River. Pumping up clear groundwater flowing from the Chichibu mountain range, the sake brewed in the clear air of Okumusashi features a transparent flavor that reflects the crispness of the water itself.
The representative brand "Koma-oh" is a name symbolizing regional history and identity, and contrary to its powerful sound, its delicate and never-tiring elegant quality fascinates many fans. Additionally, it develops brands that pass down regional terroir and history, such as "Kawasemi no Sato," named after the bird symbolizing Koma River, and "Kimigahata," loved as a local sake of Okumusashi. While valuing traditional techniques, it is an honest brewery that brews sake that adds color to modern dining tables and continues to transmit the charm of the Koma land.
