Kongoriki Sake Brewery

Kongoriki Sake Brewery is the only sake brewery in Takatori-cho, located in Kamitosa, Takatori-cho, Takaichi-gun, Nara Prefecture.
There are theories that it was founded in 1824 and 1336, but in any case, it is a brewery with a long history. Rooted in the castle town of Takatori Castle, they have worked on the production of fermented foods such as sake and soy sauce under the trade name "Iseya" while supporting the region as a tenma-yaku (courier official) and O-toshiyori (senior councilor) of the feudal domain.
In the historic area of Takatori-cho, it is a brewery that has continued to contribute to people's lives and the local community through fermentation technology, and its representative brand of sake "Kongoriki" is familiar to locals.
While protecting traditional sake brewing, in recent years they have also been taking on new challenges under the slogan of "fusion of nature and science", making them a brewery that combines history and innovation.
