山和は山和酒造店の限定流通シリーズで、質の高い純米酒として専門店を中心に高い評価を得ています。七代目蔵元杜氏の伊藤大祐氏が中心となり、米洗いから搾りまで極力手作業に戻した丁寧な仕込みで醸されています。船形山系からの伏流水と宮城県産酒米（蔵の華、吟のいろは、美山錦）を使用し、「Simple is best」をコンセプトに流行に左右されない基本を大切にした酒造りが特徴です。
