The school building, once called 'the elementary school with the most beautiful sunset in Japan,' has been reborn as a base for sustainable sake brewing.
Using 100% Sado-grown rice (such as Toki-certified rice) and brewing with clean energy from solar power. As students and local people are also involved in the brewing, it is full of charm as a 'Sake Special District' that goes beyond a mere production base.
