They began brewing soy sauce and miso in the mid-Edo period and started sake brewing in the late Edo period (around 1850).
Located at an altitude of 860m on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi at the northern foot of Mt. Fuji, they brew sake in a blessed environment with extreme cold climate, clear air, and clear underground water from Mt. Fuji.
With techniques inherited for generations and the passion of the 21st head, Yogoemon Ide, they continue to brew high-quality sake that has won numerous awards in domestic and international competitions.
