"Masuichi Ichimura Shuzojo" is a long-established brewery founded in 1755 (Horeki 5).
The Ichimura family, which deals in chestnut confectionery, a specialty of Obuse Town, started the sake brewing business in the middle of the Edo period.
In 2000, they revived the traditional brewing method using wooden barrels and switched to a policy of brewing only Junmai sake and Junmai Daiginjo, realizing unique sake brewing that fuses tradition and innovation.
There is a counter called "Teppadai" inside the brewery where you can taste all brands, and it is gaining popularity as a tourist facility.
