With its flagship brand "Rakuizumi" established in the Meiji era, the company served as a pillar of local culinary culture, also producing soy sauce and miso.
Although it closed its doors in 2018, its legacy as a "Spring of Joy" (the meaning of Rakuizumi) that accompanied the lives of local people for over two centuries remains deeply engraved in the history of Noshiro.
