Kaguyama, located in the "storehouse town" of Kitakata, inherits an elegant style of brewing that captures the emotions of the Manyo era and the pure bounty of Mount Iide in every drop.
Its name derives from "Mount Kagu," one of the three mountains of Yamato and a famous poetic site in Nara, entrusting the sake with the Japanese sense of beauty loved since ancient times. Using soft water from the Mount Iide range and brewed in the fresh air of Kitakata, its quality is most notably characterized by fruity aromas reminiscent of apple and banana. Upon tasting, a soft roundness and rich umami unique to Junmai sake spread, followed by a light crispness that leaves a pleasant finish. Protecting tradition while adding brilliance to modern dining tables, it is a brewery where Kitakata's rich nature and elegant spirit resonate.
