Kanetatamadashuzouten

Kaneta Tamada Shuzoten Co., Ltd. is a historic brewery located in Shigemori-machi, Hirosaki City, with a legacy spanning over 330 years. It was founded with funding from Tsugaru Nobumasa, the 4th Lord of the Tsugaru Clan, and its sakes were cherished as the official purveyors to successive lords.
The brewery uses locally grown Aomori rice such as "Hana-omoi," "Hana-fubuki," and "Masshigura," and brews exclusively with Aomori-native yeasts. Approximately 70% of their production is Junmai Ginjo style, reflecting their commitment to premium quality.
Their primary brands include "Tsugaru Jongara," "Hana-ippu," and "Zan." They also maintain "Tamagawa," brewed since their days as a branch family, and "Kuroudo," a brand inherited when another local brewery closed.
"Hana-ippu" is particularly popular among young women for its gorgeous aroma and rounded sweetness, while their Junmai Daiginjo is admired for its refined fragrance and juicy, gentle flavor.
