Ochi Shuzo Jo

Ochi Shuzo Jo is a brewery founded in 1893 in Shimo-azae, Maniwa City, brewing 'Taisho no Tsuru' and 'Rakka Ryusui' in a firefly-rich natural environment.
Using mineral-rich medium-hard well water that flows through karst terrain, they create sake with a robust, crisp character.
With 'Taisho no Tsuru' as their flagship brand—combining the surname 'Ochi' with the auspicious 'crane' symbolizing the Taisho era—they continue brewing sake nurtured by Maniwa's nature and traditional techniques.
Notably, 'Rakka Ryusui' is a Junmai sake designed exclusively for warm sake (kan), limited to Okayama Prefecture, brewed to bring out rice umami and mature flavors at 45-50°C.
Their brewing is characterized by warmth, with a wish that human connections spread from the brewery.
