Tsunan Jozo is a sake brewery that coexists with the harsh nature of Tsunan Town, one of the areas with the heaviest snowfall in Niigata Prefecture. This land, surrounded by 2,000m-class mountains, is covered in several meters of snow in winter, and top-quality winter brewing (kan-zukuri) is performed in the silence. The snowmelt water passes through the geological layers and becomes clear spring water, which is also connected to 'Ryugakubo,' one of the 100 best waters, supporting the pure vitality of this sake.
The concept of the brewed sake is 'Snow Country Terroir.'
