Maruyama Shuzo, located in Yokose, Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture, is a brewery that practices brewing utilizing the blessings of the fertile land sandwiched between the Tone and Arakawa Rivers. Characterized by a thorough commitment to local production for local consumption, it uses high-quality underground water unique to this region as brewing water and actively adopts local Fukaya rice "Sai no Kagayaki."
Pursuing brewing that reflects the local terroir, the nature and culture of Fukaya breathe in every brewed drop. The flagship brand "Orihoshi" was named after the weaving culture once flourishing in this land and the clean air where beautiful starry skies can be seen. Additionally, from the traditional brand "Kindaiboshi Masamune" to the emotional "Suichogetsu" and "Shunkido" expressing the joy of the moment, it shares the charm of sake with diverse sensibilities.
