Their brewing water, the lifeblood of the brewery, is pure natural spring water piped from the Shirataki waterfall through a 2km private waterway built in 1932 with local help—a challenge that laid the foundation for today's exceptionally clean sake quality.
The 6th generation owner, with a unique background in rock band management, is a member of "NEXT5." In addition to the traditional "Shirataki," the "Yamamoto" series bearing his name has redefined the image of sake, captivating fans worldwide with its fresh, energetic flavor.
