Otokojiman Sake Brewing is a historic brewery founded in Meiji 28 (1895) by Tokuzo Matsuda, the second son of the Matsuda family, in Fukugawa Village, Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Currently, under the cooperation and guidance of other breweries, they are making various efforts to realize the sake quality and taste they aim for.
Also, they have started their own cultivation of sake rice 'Yamada Nishiki', which is the raw material for our sake 'Tatsunoo' (Dragon's Tail). The characters 'Otokojiman' used on the sake label also have a historical background that they are handwritten calligraphy by Ryusei Kishida himself.
