Kokufushi

"Kokufushi" is a traditional brand of Yasumoto Shuzo, once loved as the official sake of the Echizen Matsudaira clan.
Its name derives from "Kokufu" indicating high quality and "Shi" meaning government office or administrator, representing it as a high-status sake.
It is now loved mainly locally as an evening drink that preserves the old-fashioned taste.
