Ryoko is an innovative brand by Mineno Hakubai Shuzo, named after calligrapher Maki Ryoko. To overturn the existing image of Niigata sake, Toji Iijima, who honed his skills at a famous brewery in Aizu, is challenging a new frontier called 'Hojun Karakuchi' (rich and dry).
