"Yoshida Kingoemon Shouten" is a brewery located in Sano-cho (formerly Uzura village), Fukui City, dating back to the early Meiji period. Under the firm policy of "brewing only Junmai sake," they brew high-quality sake using only rice, water, and human craftsmanship.
They use extremely smooth water gushing from a well dug 150m underground over two years during the Taisho era as brewing water. The flagship brand "Kumonoi" is characterized by a deep taste where that mellow water and the high-quality umami of rice harmonize.
