Oimatsu Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. is a long-established brewery founded in 1768 (Meiwa 5) and has a history of more than 250 years as a purveyor of the Yamasaki Domain.
Shiso City is known as the "birthplace of sake" and is blessed with the abundant water of the Ibo River and Chikusa River flowing from famous mountains such as Mount Hyono, Mount Mimuro, and Mount Ushiro.
Located in a basin 150 meters above sea level, it continues to maintain traditional brewing methods in an environment suitable for sake brewing where the average temperature is 3 to 5 degrees lower than Kobe and Osaka.
"Komenosato" using Hyogo Shiso rice "Yumenishiki" features a rich umami, and "Suehiro Oimatsu" which protects the taste of the time of founding is the most popular in Shiso City and is loved as a daily drinking sake.
