Kikusuishuzou

Kikusui Shuzo, founded in 1881, is a brewery based in Shibata City, Niigata Prefecture. It is world-famous as a pioneer that brought a revolution to the drinking style of sake by developing the first canned unpasteurized undiluted sake (Namagenshu) 'Funaguchi Kikusui Ichibanshibori.'
The achievement of making it possible to enjoy the freshly squeezed taste anytime and anywhere by sealing the fresh Namagenshu, which previously only those who visited the brewery could taste, in aluminum cans with original technology is immeasurable. While protecting traditional sake brewing techniques, it also focuses on activities to pass down the history and culture of sake to the next generation, such as establishing the first 'North Echigo Kikusui Sake Cultural Institute.'
