Taiun Shuzo is a new brewery in Izumo City, established by Mr. Chen Wei-Ren from Taiwan with the aspiration of "connecting Taiwan and Izumo."
Mr. Chen was fascinated by sake while studying abroad at Shimane University, and after training at numerous breweries, he obtained a manufacturing license for sake for export and launched his own brewery. Using rice "Taichung 65" which has a historical background between Taiwan and Japan, he is creating a new sake culture that serves as a bridge between the two countries.
