Kaba Sake Brewery, founded in 1704 (Hoei 1), is a brewery carving a history of over 300 years in the harsh yet rich nature of Okuhida. The white-walled earthen storehouse designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of the country has become part of the emotional landscape of Hida Furukawa. Utilizing the rice and water nurtured by nature in Hida and the cool climate suitable for "Kan-zukuri" (cold brewing), while protecting traditional handmade methods, we continue to brew sake that resonates with the drinker's heart.
