Kikunamishuzou

Kikunami Shuzo was a historical brewery once located in Sado City, Niigata Prefecture, but it is currently closed. For many years, it continued to brew local sake loved by people in the region within Sado's severe natural environment.
Even after its closure, its name is remembered as an important chapter coloring the history of Sado's sake brewing, and its former brewing spirit quietly lives on in the island's sake culture. Although manufacturing and sales are not currently conducted, the memory of its simple and flavorful sake quality is still carefully passed down among former enthusiasts.
