Fukurai is a brewery located in Kuji City, founded in the Meiji era. The brand name contains the meaning "fortune comes," named with the wish that fortune visits everyone who drinks, sells, and brews it.
In the land of Northern Sanriku called Kuji City, they practice traditional sake brewing using the region's rich groundwater. They are developing products that stick to local ingredients, such as Suzukasumi, which uses 100% Iwate Prefecture sake brewing suitable rice "Gin Otome."
By taste design emphasizing compatibility with Sanriku seafood, they brew sake that snuggles up to the local food culture.
