Nishioka Shuzoten is a long-established brewery founded in 1781 (Tenmei 1), boasting the oldest history in Kochi Prefecture. Located in Kure, Nakatosa Town, a fisherman's town famous for single-hook bonito fishing, it has been brewing sake for over 240 years.
With the concept of "sake that goes well with Seared Bonito (Katsuo no Tataki)," it uses underground water from the source of the Shimanto River to brew sake with a dry and refreshing taste. It also has an attached gallery using an Edo-period brewery, transmitting the history and culture of the region to the present.
