It is known as the only brewery in Nagano Prefecture that has been using "flower yeast" for 40 years.
Inherited from the 8th generation, the 9th generation currently brews all sake with flower yeast.
There are 5 types of flower yeast (climbing rose, sunflower, Queen of the Night, begonia, abelia), and they are distinguished by different colored labels under the brand "Sekizen."
In addition to sake, they also produce wine and cider.
