文佳人という銘柄名は、土佐藩の郡奉行であった野中兼山の娘「お袷（えん）さん」という才色兼備の女性にちなんで、2代目蔵元が名付けました。「文化を持つ美しい人」という意味が込められています。
伝統的な酒搾り方法である「酒船（さかふね）」を使用して3日間かけて優しく酒を搾り出し、不要な雑味を取り除いています。搾ったお酒は-5℃で保管し、フレッシュさを保っています。
文佳人はアリサワ酒造を代表する銘柄で、辛口純米など様々な商品バリエーションがあります。
