Azumatsuru Shuzo was founded during the Tenpo era and is the only remaining brewery in Taku City. Although production was temporarily halted and the brewery was dormant due to stagnant demand for sake, it was revived by the 6th generation owner, Yasunari Nonaka, who resumed production as the master brewer (Toji). While preserving traditions, it continues to take on new challenges, focusing on quality-first sake brewing through careful hand-crafting. Its representative brands are "Azumatsuru" and "Musubare".
