Ouchi Shuzo, founded in 1897, was a brewery that supported the regional sake culture for many years in Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima, producing its flagship brand "Adatara Kikusui."
Nihonmatsu has long been known as a major sake producing area alongside Aizu, and Ouchi Shuzo was loved by locals as a brewery bearing a part of that tradition. Although they have now ended brewing, their passion and exceptional skills have been passed down to their successor, "Ninki Shuzo," still living on within Fukushima's modern brewing.
